The new facility opened August 1999 on the site of the former Park Avenue Elementary School at a cost of approximately $9 million. It is located at 3703 Park Avenue Elementary School in the western area of Nashville.  It sits at the edge of a residential area near the Charlotte Avenue business corridor.  The facility is a two-story building with forty-six classrooms, two playgrounds, two indoor playrooms, two computer labs, a media center, lunchroom/auditorium, four specialized areas for art and music, nine small group rooms, a full size gymnasium, Community Career Center, and a clinic.
